Birthdays and celebrations

What do you guys think of Birthdays, The bible mentions Birthdays however tragic things happened. Does that mean we are not to celebrate our birthdays? When I am faced with these scriptures and people say do not celebrate birthdays as they are pagan, I always think of the night Christ was born and the Angels sang in the Heavens and Sheppards came to the place where HE was born. It sounded like a real happy day, even a special star came out.
To me this was a good day.
What do you guys think and of Christmas day?

I like birthdays. I don't see why we wouldn't celebrate them. I guess I've never heard Christian opposition to that.

If you don't celebrate birthdays, you don't celebrate Jesus' birthday. Where in the Bible does God command man not to celebrate birthdays specifically? "Thou shalt not celebrate any birthdays for they are pagan rituals"??? Nowhere. This is Jehovah Witness teaching. It is just another tenet to support their agenda. Again, they are trying to obliterate Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection from salvation, making Him incidental and totally unnecessary. IMHO. ;o)

For real Debs That's what I said, I mean God is not ambiguous if he didn't want us to celebrate birthdays HE Would say it we wouldn't have to guess. WOW they are trying to do away with Jesus. I have come across this so many times Jesus is the one who is opposed the most. I'm not sure why this keeps coming my way, I had another friend try to tell me Jesus was Horus and that he didn't die or rise and now my JW friends have popped up and have me on the radar!!
It's no use IT's WAYYYY TOOO LATE I'm HIS forever. Jesus is my all xx

I love birthdays. However, if anyone has a conflict of conscience regarding then, just let me know. I will gladly take the presents off your hands, and dispose of the cake and ice cream discreetly.
