Does anyone know where he lives? I just listened to all his calls today, and I'm so concerned about him. He needs a solid Christian man who can meet with him! I'm praying for Carl....

Carl - I am indeed praying for you.
One thing I thought of - have you had this checked out medically? I am a pharmacist working in mental health, so I am used to the idea of people hearing voices as part of an illness caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. These voices can be very derogatory in nature but do respond to treatment. This is not to deny God's healing power against the work of the enemy, but God's healing can work through treatment. Prayer and medical treatment are not opposed to each other but can work together. I've known plenty of Christians with mental illness. Treating the illness removes the distorted view of God that the illness causes and allows them to grow in their true faith.
The fact that it came on suddenly - I would advise that you have a scan to rule out any organic cause.
