Bible Questions and Spiritual Discussion

My new "mantra", so to speak . . .
Maybe I'm incorrect in using the word "mantra", but today I decided to tell myself, "God is going to make sure we have the resources we need. I don't know when and I don't know how, but He is going to come through for us."

I'm a worrier, and there are several things I am concerned about: my progress in school, paying back student loans, and Matthew's future (Matthew is my son, he is 13 with autism.) And while I admit there are many things I am concerned about in the USA, my husband and I are concentrating on what we can do. We can't control the situation in Washington, but we can be good stewards of our own household.

So I'm trying to remind myself that God is going to take care of our needs. I don't think he's going to necessarily drop resources in our lap -- it's very possible that God providing for us will call for me to get up and do something! -- but He will take care of us.

Hi Tina

There are many persons like your self not only in the US but all around the world and they all in the same predicament concerning the resources they need, and for many the situation is far worst than yours.
Is there an answer to the problem?
Yes there is in the message of Jesus Christ. When Jesus fed five thousand with five loafs and two fishes and had twelve baskets of fragments left over He wasn’t just showing off. He was demonstrating that the belief of limitation which exist in the flesh is not a reality in the spirit.

Christianity is a way of life revealed by Jesus Christ which frees us from all the limitations of the flesh. Unfortunately today it’s about one who sacrifice Himself in our place and is not seen as a teaching at all. He taught His disciples of a new state of being which we can achieve when we enter the kingdom of God which is the ultimate package deal.

He said:

Matt. 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Matt. 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matt. 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Tina, I believe that God will bless you in some great way for being so brave and trusting Him so much. I don't know how it will happen, but I believe that it will. If you persevere in this trial you will grow in faith and mature spiritually, and I say that not meaning that I believe that you are immature spiritually, just that we all need those spiritual trials to grow. I am not sure that I could do what you are doing, but have faith! God says that He will provide, so keep asking, keep praying, do what you can, and watch for great things to happen. It may not be great by human standards but I know it will be great spiritually, and you will be a witness to God's providence.
