The most simple thing you can do is to flee from temptation. That is the absolute first step, which is to exert your will and physically remove yourself from any temptation to sin. The second and equally critical step is to flee not just somewhere, but to God. You are here on the daily audio bible forum, that is great! If there is any way, any way at all that you can listen to the daily audio bible podcast on a daily basis, then you should do it! The Bible will give you the words you need. Lastly, be sure that you stay in the light. Find a friend or a counselor that you can confide your problems to. And I wouldn't recommend simply finding people online. I'm talking a real person, someone Christian you know and trust that you can confide with, and speak to them earnestly about your problems, each and every one. Don't be embarassed to divulge things. Everyone has problems just like your own and you are not alone, and most of us go through things quite similar to what you have gone through. Those people will help you sort through the problems, and talking them out with someone may make them seem more manageable or avoidable.

As for your question, what is the full armor of God...

Battle against Evil. (Ephesians 6)
10 Finally, draw your strength from the Lord and from his mighty power.
11 Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against the tactics of the devil.
12 For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens.
13 Therefore, put on the armor of God, that you may be able to resist on the evil day and, having done everything, to hold your ground.
14 So stand fast with your loins girded in truth, clothed with righteousness as a breastplate,
15 and your feet shod in readiness for the gospel of peace.
16 In all circumstances, hold faith as a shield, to quench all [the] flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Constant Prayer.
18 With all prayer and supplication, pray at every opportunity in the Spirit. To that end, be watchful with all perseverance and supplication for all the holy ones
19 and also for me, that speech may be given me to open my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel
20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, so that I may have the courage to speak as I must.

To sum up, the armor of God is:

* Truth, which is the true teaching of God. If you know God, then you can know how God is protecting you and sustaining you and loving you and always there with you to help you through these things. To know truth you have to do a lot of learning, a lot of listening.

* Righteousness, which is holiness. Be zealous for being holy and not disobeying the commandments of God, knowing that these commandments will help you become the person that God meant for you to be, and that they are a safeguard for the true happiness and freedom that you long for.

* Readiness. This means that you are connected to God, ready to serve God and do what God wills. This takes daily prayer, a talking to God, and especially a listening to God, a willingness to sacrifice what you have and do whatever it takes to follow God. You are young, and now is the best time of your life to decide to do this. You have the energy and the heart for it, God will supply all that you need.

* Faith. Trust that everything that happens, happens because either God wills it or God allows it to happen, and that even bad things that happen are used toward good for those who love God. So always remember that God will use bad things that happen to you for your good and the good of others if you love God, if you trust him. Light the fire of love in your heart through bringing to mind all the good things you have, and always be thankful for them and recall them to mind frequently. The evil one will try to create doubt in you, but know that God cannot lie, and that God is always, always with you. Be not afraid.

* Salvation. If you are baptized then know that you are a child of God to the biggest, most awesome Father who ever was. You are a member of the body of Christ, someone whom God has picked among all the world to draw close to, and that He would have died for you even if you were the only person who ever lived, so that you might have life and have life to the full. Enduring trials will strengthen you and make you a greater warrior for God. Resisting temptation will do the same. God has a great purpose for you and He wants you to be strong through Him, just like a good Father would. That requires you to go through some tough stuff. Keep going.

* Keep the word of God on your lips. Know your Bible and your faith. Know the truths of God and keep them on your lips for those tough situations and use them to fight off temptations and to give you comfort through trials. These words are true and written as a love letter to you so that you can know God and serve him in this world.

Finally I add that it is a great practice to start praying for others. By praying for others you will help them and you will find purpose in your life. As one of my favorite teachers likes to say: "your life is not about you". Go into the world and make a positive difference in others lives in the name of God, and you will know freedom and what true love and life is.

I hope that this encourages you this day.

Your brother in Christ,

Andre

Thanks alot Andre. But I still have a slight problem. For example right now Satan knows im afraid of my brother, so he uses him to try to get me to stop praising God in the house. And every time I have some fear in me of my brother coming, that's when he comes. What can I do to stop him coming?

Our Lord says to be not afraid. This is not always easy in every situation.

I think it's important to know that not everything that happens to us like this is of demonic origin.

If you have fear, you should pray to God for courage and peace. And know that God is with you.

Why are you afraid of your brother? What is he going to do to you?
