DAB has been on and off in my life for about 2 years now. I really appreciate everything it has been doing in my life. I am a new husband (barely starting our second year) and a soon to be father (a few weeks out). I need this community, thank you for your support. My heart started on God, but for 10 years (late teens and early and mid 20's) my life was full of sin. As soon as I brought my heart back to God he blessed me with many things. Right now I am struggling with keeping my focus on what God wants and not what I want. I have much shame and guilt which seems to tie me down and keep me from lasting change. I will continue to surrender and do what is asked. Thank you for your prayers.

Welcome Crandom, you have come to the right place..
Maybe by now you are a new father and have found a whole new set of responsibilities, fears, and hopes. Please know that when the devil sees us coming into Jesus's protection, he will try to put roadblocks up, for example shame and guilt, he will use anything and I mean anything to thwart you and divert you in your straight path with Jesus, now look into that new babies eyes and say to your self, what a miracle that he/she is and how much you as a daddy loves him/her, that is EXACTLY how much our father in heaven loves you...
