Just don't want to be a taker but a participator in this ministry. I live in Hawaii and I an retired and a Christian and have been for many years. I will be very honest with all who read this I am a prime candidate for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. I do know all of us need Christ but my life has been such that if you were on the outside looking in you would think there is no way that woman is a Christian. I have been married three times have four adult children and several grand children. I feel like the Samaritan women at the well. It is like "Which one is Your husband" I knew I was always saved but I have been back and forth up and down and sideways a lot. But the last two years I have been very convicted by my complacency with God a personal relationship with him, getting involved in a church, reading his Word and really seeking him for more than few minutes in the day. I bought my self an Ipad and started going through all the applications and came across DAB and that little voice said go for it, and this past March 2014 I have committed a time for God (I know this was His Spirit) and have stuck to it and it has opened up a whole new avenue for me to explore, God Himself. I am so grateful and excited to have a format to follow, I am easily distracted and I have found if I listen to the word pray with others and Brian things are becoming alive again. The seeds planted over the years were not in vain and I see the shattered pieces of my life are ever so slowly being put back together and instead of a vessel with cracks I understand what the word says about becoming a new creature in Christ. I have so much to learn but what a great community of believers and what a great God and amazing Savior we have. I am stepping out even by writing this and that is of the Lord, this is just one of many aspects of my life He is at work in. Anyone doubting the power of prayer, the love and mercies of our Father, the Spirits guidance and wisdom and the unrelenting love of Jesus Christ please don't give up, just a few minutes a day does make a difference. We are here for Gods good pleasure not ours. I am in many struggles at this point in my life but I can see how God is giving me a place to come and become a part of Him and His Body. He loves us so.
