Love for god

Why is that I can't love god as much as I love other things in life , I often hear people talking abt how the love of god fills their soul and life but I never have this last for more than a day , it becomes a spee human effort to pray somedays cos it doesn't it feel as easy and good as the rest of things in life
... By the way I'm new to the forums so apologies if I asked this in the wrong place guys

Have you asked Him? Ask Him to change your heart. Maybe it will happen all at once or maybe it will happen little by little, but it will happen. Praying with you.
