Need prayer as my mum has biopsies this week
|

My mum, Pat, s having biopsies on a neck mass and one on the back of her tongue this week. Please pray for the skill of those doing the work on her and that the masses are not life threatening, can be removed by surgery and it won't mean any lasting physical damage to her. Please pray for peace and strength for my parents and a wonderful sense of God as they face this. There is the possibility that the biopsy for the tongue mass might need a traciotamy - please pray this won't be necessary if that is safe for my mum and can be done under local anesthettic. Thank you. Been listening for years and this has been the first time I've requested prayer but such a serious time for me and my family.

Thank you JT. She had the biopsy yesterday and it didn't need a traciotamy which was a big answer to prayer. Now we are awaiting the results of her two biopsies. Please continue to pray for her and that the masses are not life threatening. Thank you.

She had her results yesterday and it is cancer in both the back of tongue and neck. She now needs to have an MRI and then next Wednesday will go to the hospital to discuss options and then decide what treatment to have. Please continue to pray that the cancer is contained and will not spread to the blood or vital organs and that the people working on her case will be given God's wisdom and provide the best advice so my mum can live for many many more years after this episode. Please also pray for my family and particularly my mum and dad at this time that it brings them
both deeper in their relationship with Jesus. Thank you.
