need prayer for psychological issue

I've suffered with a particular psychological issue since my teens. I keep thinking that I've overcome it, but it comes roaring back from time to time. I would like deliverance from the issue, and short of that, wisdom on how to deal with it. It's one of those kinds of things that would wreck my entire family if it continues to manifest itself. Hello Elizabeth!
I spent several years involved with a church that was heavy on deliverance teaching.
We learned that there is a series of 'steps' one goes through for True Deliverance.
The process starts with Forgiveness, then Sins of the Fathers (book of Joshua), then generational curses (God is a jealous God and punishes our offspring to the 2nd & 3rd generation) and so on.
Yes, we are under grace! BUT we still can walk in the curses of the law. Jesus said clearly that He came to fulfill the Law not to end it.
Deliverance is part of a journey that has deep roots that must be 'dug down to'. The foundation of which begins with forgiveness. Remember, Jesus said that if we do not forgive others their sins against us that the Father cannot forgive us. This includes forgiving ourselves for things we have done wrong.
I have been delivered of many psychological issues as a result of following this process and can tell you that it is not easy BUT it is worth it!
